The Ailey School Alumni Association

The Ailey School has been training outstanding artists since 1969 and our graduates have been making an impact on the dance world for over 50 years. Our esteemed alumni have forged successful careers across the globe as dancers, choreographers, artistic directors, educators, and arts administrators. This wide scope of dance professions is a reflection of the diverse education offered at The Ailey School. Students are nurtured by a faculty of distinguished professionals and dedicated administrative staff. Alumni credit their Ailey education with teaching them to foster expressiveness, develop skills of critical analysis, and a willingness to take risks.
Launched in 2015, The Ailey School Alumni Association (ASAA) offers alumni the opportunity to re-connect with their peers and with the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation community through a wide range of activities and events. Benefits of the ASAA include a discounted open class rate, alumni-only master classes, group rate tickets to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's seasons at City Center and Lincoln Center, and more.
Below is the growing list of alumni profiles that reflect the eclectic careers and activities our alumni have engaged in. If you are a graduate of one of our Professional Division Programs and would like to be featured on this list, please contact us and let us know what you are up to!
