Tania Palomeque Guirao

Freelance dancer

Tania Palomeque Guirao is a native of Barcelona, Spain. In 2011, she moved to New York where she trained at The Ailey School in the Independent Study Program and Scholarship Program. She was among a select group of students chosen to perform with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the Park Ave Armory 100 year Anniversary Celebration under the direction of Matthew Rushing. She has performed throughout New York, Connecticut and Philadelphia with the IndoRican Multicultural Dance Project, FREDIDance Project, The Next Stage Project, Primary Productions, Valleto Dance Company and SD Prism |ELEVATE|. Tania has also performed in many freelance projects alongside dancers from companies such as Parsons Dance Company and Ballet Hispanico, and has appeared in the Peter Miser music video "Wasted", choreographed by Jennifer Archibald, in a commercial for Revlon Cosmetics, and in the Amazon TV Show "The Tick" choreographed by Maria Torres. She is currently a freelance dancer and dance teacher and performs with LA GARRA Company in a cabaret show at the Teatreneu Theatre, Barcelona, Spain.
