Taeler Cyrus

"Hello, Dolly!"; "An American In Paris"; Ailey II (2008-2010)

Taeler Cyrus, from Los Angeles, CA, graduated with honors from the Ailey /Fordham BFA Program in Dance. While at The Ailey School, she participated in numerous prestigious training intensives including Laban School in London, Impulstanz in Vienna, Jacob’s Pillow, and the American Dance Festival.  Professionally, Taeler has danced with River North Dance Chicago, Ailey II,The Metropolitan Opera, Thang Dao Dance Company, and has apprenticed with Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She has also performed at numerous international festivals including The Holland Dance Festival, Portugal’s Cistermúsica Festival, Finland’s Kuopio Dance Festival, Vaison Danses, in France, and Dancers Responding to AIDS’ Fire Island Dance Festival. Taeler has also worked commercially as a dancer for Kanye West, and has modeled for various publications, including Pointe Magazine, Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit, and Real Simple. Last Fall, Taeler made her Broadway debut in "After Midnight" which won a Tony for Best Choreography.  Her other Broadway credits include the revivals of  "An American In Paris" and "Hello, Dolly!".
