The Ailey School

Serena Giannini began her dance training at the Area Danza in Bellinzona, Switzerland, where she studied ballet, modern, jazz and flamenco. In 2009 she was invited to attend the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. After her training there, she moved to New York and was accepted into The Ailey School, where she completed a Certificate in Dance in 2013. Serena participated in many competitions all over the world, such as TanzOlymp in Berlin, Youth American Grand Prix in New York, Odyssee de la dans in Lyon and Progetto Danza in Italy.  In 2012 she performed Memoria alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the New York City Center. Serena has worked with Choreographers Sidra Bell, Carlos dos Santos, Amy Hall, Erika Pujic, Mi Jung Manfrini-Capra and Laura Bindelli.  Serena can be found dancing with Fadi J. Khoury Dance in New York.
