Robert Moore

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre; Steps Repertory Ensemble

Robert Moore is from Hamden, Connecticut and began his dance training at New England Ballet and New Haven Ballet. He is an alumnus of Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts, the Merce Cunningham Trust workshop, the Jacob’s Pillow Movin’ Commercial Dance Program, and the Complexions Contemporary Ballet Summer Intensive. He has performed and taught in Mexico as a part of JUNTOS Collective. He has performed works choreographed by Fredrick Earl Mosley, Ronald K. Brown, Ray Mercer, Jessica Lang, Nicholas Villeneuve, Marcus Jarrell Willis, Norbert De La Cruz III, Rena Butler, Astrid von Ussar, Germaul Barnes, Matthew Rushing, Jeffrey Page, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Julia Ehrstrand, Sidra Bell, Bradley Shelver, Lar Lubovitch, and Alvin Ailey. Robert graduated magna cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in 2015. He is a teaching artist for Notes in Motion Outreach Dance Theatre and a dancer with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre, The Steps Repertory Ensemble, and AATMA Performing Arts.
