The Ailey School

Nicole Nerup was born in Seattle, Washington and began her dance training in the Chicago-land area. She graduated from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in 2016 where she performed works by Alvin Ailey, Hope Boykin, Jae Man Joo, Taryn Kaschock-Russell, Pedro Ruiz, and Nicholas Villeneuve. As a student at The Ailey School, Ms. Nerup performed in Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s Spirit Gala at Lincoln Center and at the Opening Night Benefit Gala at New York’s City Center Theater. She has also trained at River North Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Visceral Dance Center. She has danced with Ballet Hispanico’s second company, BHdos.
