Maeva Boldron

Nimbus Dance Works

Born and raised in Paris, Maëva Boldron started dancing at the age of 11 with hip-hop.  She started her training at the Jazz Dance Institute Rick Odums (IFPRO) in Paris. At the age of 18, she moved to New York City and had the chance to be a part of The Ailey School on Scholarship. Ms. Boldron attended intensive programs in Israel that gave her the opportunity to learn and dance repertoire from Nacho Duato, Angelin Preljocaj, Mats E, Crystal Pite, and The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Ms. Boldron has been in works by choreographers Matthew Rushing, Marcus Willis, Iquail Shaheed, Natalie Lomonte and Jacinta Paniagua. Ms. Boldron had the opportunity to perform repertoire by Alvin Ailey in Revelations with a cast of 50 dancers and Memoria, performing with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at New York City Center and The David H. Koch Theater in The Ailey Spirit Gala. Ms. Boldron was a member of FJK dance company (contemporary, ballroom) directed by Fadi J Khoury. She also danced with Zest collective and Arim dance. Ms. Boldron is an apprentice in her first season with Nimbus Dance Works.
