Jose Luis Trujillo
MULTIPLEX DANCE
Jose Luis Trujillo is a native of Mexico. He received his formal dance training at Hollywood High Performing Arts Center, Los Angeles Valley College and The Ailey School. He holds a BFA in Dance from CalArts. He has performed with the Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Media City Ballet and Pasadena Dance Theatre where he is currently a member. He joined MULTIPLEX DANCE in January of 2015. He has performed the works of Chad Michael Hall, Laurence Blake, Stephanie Nugent, and Trisha Brown’s Set/Reset. Trujillo’s choreographic work has been featured at REDCAT. He holds several positions within the Pasadena Dance Theatre as Assistant to Artistic Director, Cynthia Young. Faculty member for its Conservatory of Performing Arts, Program Coordinator, and Head of Outreach and Development. Trujillo hopes to open a performing arts center for underpriviledged children.
