The Ailey School

Gabriella Perez, a native New Yorker, began her dance training at American Dance and Drama Studio in Queens. While in Queens she trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, acting and singing. She furthered her training at Dorothy’s School of Dance and Maple Avenue School of Dance on Long Island.  She danced for two years in David Howard's program Month of Sundays. 

Gabriella attended The Ailey School’s Junior Division, as well as two Summer Intensives at Ailey and a summer intensive at Parsons Dance Company.  She performed with the BalaSole dance company at the Ailey Citigroup Theater under the emerging/re-emerging artist program in 2015.  She received an Associates Degree in Dance from Dean College in 2013 and subsequently graduated from The Ailey School’s Certificate Program in 2018.  Gabriella is currently a teacher at Nadia’s Performing Arts Centre and Prodigy School of the Arts.
