Artemis Stamouli
Deeply Rooted Dance Theater
Artemis Stamouli was born in Volos ,Greece and began her training at the age of five. At the age of fourteen she began training at Nikki's Critchlow Dance Studio in Volos, Greece. In addition to her dance training, Artemis studied piano and singing and went on to study at the Theatre Studies and Drama University in Athens. She participated in her first solo competition, Terpsixoris Erga, at the age of seventeen and was awarded 1st place.
Artemis studied at The Ailey School on scholarship and worked with well known choreographers such as Adam Barruch, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Carlos Dos Santos, Jaqueline Buglisi and more. She lives in Chicago, IL and is an apprentice with Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre.
