Ana Sofia Reynoso

Freelance dancer

Ana Sofia Reynoso is a native of Morelia Mexico. She began her dance training at the age of 16 in San Diego, California and subequently moved to New York to train at the Joffrey Ballet School. She is also a graduate of The Ailey School Certificate Program where she performed works by Alvin Ailey, Amy Hall, Early Mosley and Gregory Dolbashian.  Additional dance training includes summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy, Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Bodytraffic, as well as various workshops where she had the opportunity to work with artists such as Desmond Richardson, Alejandro Cerrudo, Dresden Semperoper Ballet, NDT2 and L-E-V.

Ana Sofia has performed works by choreographers such as Gerald Arpino, Merce Cunningham, Nia Brantly, and Tyler Gilstrap. She has performed in many classics such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, A Midsummers Night Dream, Cinderella, La Viviandere, and the Nutcracker, as well as appearing in LA Dance Projects' launch of Yoggx Box Collection and as a ballet dancer in the TV show "This is Us".
