Amanda Esposito

BHdos at Ballet Hispanico

Amanda Esposito (Pasadena, CA) began her dance training at Colts Neck Dance and Performing Arts. Quickly finding a passion for dance, she began studying at The Joffrey Ballet School in New York under the direction of Pat Brown, Francesca Corkle, Elizabeth D'Anna, Eleanor D'Antuono, and John Magnus.  She attended the Joffrey's Summer Intensive for three seasons. During this time, she also continued her music education at The Juilliard School in the Pre-College Division.  In 2012, Amanda graduated from Cornell University as a Pre-Medical student with a B.A. in Psychology and a concentration in dance.  After graduation, she was accepted as a Fellowship student at The Ailey School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's official school, and continued her studies there in Ballet, Horton, Graham, and Taylor techniques under the direction of Robert Atwood, Peter Brandenhoff, Graciela Kozak, Celia Marino, Peter O’Brien, Ana Marie Forsythe, Marimba Gold-Watts, Milton Amber Scholtz, Guest Artist-Modern.  Amanda is a member of BHdos, the second company of Ballet Hispanico.
