Payment Instructions

 

How to Pay

Enrollment payments must be received with a complete enrollment form including your agreement to The Ailey School’s refund policy.  Refund policies vary for the Professional Division and Junior Division programs.
 
After  the minimum enrollment payment is received, early parital payments are welcome and appreciated;

Payment Methods:

  • We do not accept personal checks. Personal checks will interfere with processing and may cause late payments.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. *Please pre-authorize payments with your credit card provider. Daily limits may interfere with processing and cause late payments.
  • Money Order or certified payment can be made payable to “The Ailey School.”
  • Cash accepted only when paying in-person.

In person:

  • Tuesday – Saturday during the academic school year OR Monday – Friday during the summer.
  • Bursar’s Office hours

Mail or fax:

  • Please allow 1-3 weeks for processing of payments. Confirmation of payment will be the receipt from the Bursar’s office.
  • Only received date is considered when processing late fees, not sent date.

  • If Ailey has already received the enrollment form, payment can be made by phone 212-405-9519.

Junior Division Due Dates

Summer 2012

*Tuition must be received in full by the Bursar by 4:00pm on April 13, 2012 in order to be eligible for the early payment reduced tuition.

  • *Early payment in full (discount tuition) - April 13, 2012
  • Tuition balance/all fees (full tuition price) - May 4, 2012

Academic Year

 

Professional Division Due Dates

All tuition deposits must be accompanied by an Enrollment Form.
Final payments must be accompanied by all remaining required enrollment materials.

*Early payment tuition discounts must be received by the Bursar by 4:00pm on the payment deadlines in order eligible for the early payment reduced tuition.
+Financial Aid students must submit the “Projection of Aid Disbursement to Show the Bursar” form once per year to fulfill payment requirements.

Certificate and Independent Study Programs:

  • +Financial aid deadline - November 1, 2011
  • Tuition deposit - November 19, 2011
  • +Tuition balance/all fees in full - January 6, 2012

Scholarship Program: All fees in full - January 6, 2012

 

Spring 2012 Returning Student Deadlines

Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. Program: Physical Therapy fee - December 16, 2011
Certificate, Independent Study, and Scholarship Programs: +Tuition balance/all fees in full - January 6, 2012

 

Summer 2012

*Early payment in full (discount tuition) - April 13, 2012
Tuition balance/all fees (full tuition price) - May 4, 2012

Late Payments

  • Late fees apply when items are received late.
  • A minimum of two days is required for processing; participation will be delayed if received without sufficient notice.
  • Enrollment is only guaranteed when deadlines are met.
