The Ailey School

Brenda R. Neville, a mid-west native, is an international performer, accredited teacher, choreographer and director of Neville Dance Theatre. Having received her early training with the Milwaukee Ballet School and the Ailey School, she holds a BA in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University and is an ABT Curriculum Accredited Teacher (Primary-Level 3).  For over two decades and in more than 18 countries, Brenda performed classical, contemporary and ethnic dance repertory with established and emerging choreographers and companies including the Milwaukee Ballet, Butler Ballet, Indianapolis Dance Company and All Nations Dance Company and with international artists from Riverdance and Cirque de Soleil.  Brenda has appeared in numerous musicals including Crazy for You, La Cage aux Folles, and Footloose.  An active Argentine Tango and Flamenco teacher, Brenda is a professional pointe shoe fitter currently with Freed of London and is the choreographer/director of Neville Dance Theatre, an innovative New York based contemporary/ethnic dance company.
